Wake Enterprises, Inc. (WE) is a private, nonprofit organization whose mission is to assist people with disabilities to achieve their maximum level of independence..

It’s hard to believe it’s been more than three years since I stepped into the ED role here at WE. And what an incredible three years it has been. They’ve given us much to celebrate, starting with the inception of our WE GO program…which then kickstarted our WE WITHOUT WALLS initiative…after which our Wake E Live! remote learning program was born in response to COVID. As we serve adults with disabilities within and outside of our walls, we celebrate their accomplishments, their tenacity, and their determination. With the help of Wake Enterprises, they continue to grow in their independence. They create new memories each day. They believe in themselves. They live their lives as fully and as meaningfully as possible. We grow. We create. We believe. We live.

– Oshana Watkins, WAKE Executive Director

Not only are we committed to serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, we serve local businesses and the community. Wake Enterprises is about more than work. WE are about all members of the community having a place.
